The School of Global Business welcomes three visiting professors from China this fall: Dr. Jing (Annie) Long, Dr. Jianwei Pan, and Zhang Xifeng. During their one-year stay at Arcadia, each professor will participate in research, serve as a guest speaker for students, and observe teaching in their respective fields.
Dr. Jing (Annie) Long received a B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in Dalian, Liaoning, China. An Associate Professor of International Business at Dalian Nationalities University, she has been an editor and author for several books and book chapters, and her work has been published in the Journal of Global Awareness, the Journal of Service Science and Management, and the Euro Asia Journal of Management. Long?s professional interests include financial accounting, corporate finance, corporate governance, earnings management, and behavioral science.
Dr. Jianwei Pan received a B.A. and M.A. from the College of Economics and Management at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University and a Ph.D. from the College of Economics and Management at China Agricultural University. A professor in the School of Economics at Beijing Wuzi University, Pan is the Deputy Chief Editor of China Business and Market, the former Deputy Chief Editor of the Journal of Inner Mongolia Finance and Economics, and the former editor of Inner Mongolia Social Sciences. Her research interests include industrial economics, circulation economics, and consumption economics.
Zhang Xifeng received a B.A. in English Literature from Jiangxi University and an M.A. in Economics from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. She is a Ph.D. candidate in International Trade of Agricultural Products at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China.
Xifeng is the Associate Dean of the School of International Trade at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, teaching International Business Negotiation, International Business Administration, Consumer Behaviors, and International Trade Practice. Her Ph.D. studies focus on the research of carbon tariffs and their impact on agricultural products.
